Another solid outing form F. Paul Wilson and I for one am very happy that he'd found a way to continue the character. A good number of people here at Goodreads are complaining at the cliffhanger ending/non ending. I guess they have not read the last few books in the Repairman Jack saga.It has been Wilson's Modus Operandi for at least the last 5 books.
Aside from those concerns it is another fast moving simply well told tale, laying out the ground work for how Jack became the Repairman. The only flaw I have with it is that there is a lack of any otherworldy weirdness, a hall mark of the series.
